"The Land of Fine Bathing" was one of the international slogans of the period used to promote Denmark as a tourist destination - a country of long sandy beaches, fjords and a well-developed bathing culture. Sven Henriksen designed the poster in the 1930s as advertising aimed at foreign visitors, capturing the bright and welcoming mood that characterised interwar tourism marketing of Denmark.
