Sommermarked 1954 is a poster from one of the many local summer fairs and markets that brought Danes together each year during the bright summer months. The Dannebrog is the central symbol of the motif - the flag that since its origins in the 13th century has represented Danish community and ceremony. The poster was drawn by an unknown artist and reflects the festive poster style of the mid-20th century.
