The Greenland Exhibition of 1932 focused on the vast Arctic country, its nature, population and resources at a time when Greenland's connection to Denmark was being debated internationally. Norway's claim to East Greenland became a major diplomatic issue in 1933. The poster features a polar bear on an iceberg - a natural choice for an exhibition intended to generate interest in the Arctic and Greenlandic society.
