Thor Pilsner is an advertising poster for Bryggeriet Thor of Randers. The poster is typical of the advertising graphics used in the early 20th century to promote the major Danish breweries on the domestic market. The Thor brand is named after the Norse god of thunder, and Bryggeriet Thor was founded in 1897. Posters of the period combined strong visual symbols with a simple message aimed at a broad audience.
We produce every poster on demand to avoid unnecessary overproduction and waste.
