Det Danske Luftfartselskab (DDL) was founded as a limited company in October 1918 and was one of the world's first civil airlines. Its first route ran from Copenhagen via Malmö to Warnemünde - a connection to the continent at a time when air travel was still reserved for the few. This exhibition poster from 1929 was created eleven years after the company was founded and shows an aircraft above the clouds with the restrained, confident aesthetic characteristic of 1920s advertising graphics.
We produce every poster on demand to avoid unnecessary overproduction and waste.
For US orders, fulfillment is handled through our print partner workflow. Paper specification can vary by format and production location, while every file is prepared for high-quality art printing.
