In the early decades of the 20th century, newspaper delivery by air was one of the era's striking advertising ideas - and Politiken was quick to embrace the new technology. Valdemar Andersen (1875-1928) captured this modern spirit of aviation in the poster, in which a pilot drops newspapers from his aircraft. It is a motif that tells the story of two simultaneous advances: the breakthrough of aviation and a newspaper determined to be part of the new age.
We produce every poster on demand to avoid unnecessary overproduction and waste.
